• 10:30 – Arrival 

• 11:00 – 12:00: Visit to a magnetically shielded room 

• • Experience the world’s most magnetically silent room, designed to block even the faintest magnetic signals. Discover how this unique environment is used in advanced quantum experiments. 

• 12:00 – 13:00: Lunch break 

• 13:00 – 14:00: Introduction to superconductivity and SQUID sensors 

• • Gain a foundational understanding of superconductivity and how SQUID sensors are revolutionising fields such as medicine, engineering, and environmental science. 

• 14:00 – 16:00: Hands-on training 

• • Conduct laboratory experiments with SQUID sensors and liquid nitrogen, exploring their behaviours and applications. 

• 16:00 – 17:00: Discussion and closing remarks 

• • Engage with experts and fellow participants to discuss insights, explore practical applications, and deepen your knowledge of quantum sensors.
