Register Your Interest: Quantum Sensor Engineering

As part of the QTIndu European project, Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) is pleased to offer an introductory workshop on quantum sensing, with a focus on quantum magnetometry and diamond colour centres (NV centres).

This course is designed to make the concepts behind quantum sensing accessible to a wide audience. It provides an overview of quantum technologies, a qualitative explanation of the physical principles involved, and insights into real-world use cases. The workshop also includes a hands-on session using intuitive quantum education kits.

Who is it for?

This workshop is suitable for:

  • Non-Technical Managers

  • Engineers & Technicians

  • Researchers

  • Students

  • Quantum Enthusiasts

What you will learn:

  • Understand the basic principles of quantum sensing

  • Gain an overview of various quantum technologies

  • Explore the advantages and limitations of these approaches

  • Qualitatively explain the underlying physical phenomena
